Day 1
Bagdogra to Phuentsholing

- Your Bhutan adventure begins as you land at Bagdogra Airport. From here, we ’ll drive towards Jaigaon, the Indian town bordering Bhutan. At the Pedestrian Terminal, our team will assist you in smoothly crossing into Bhutan and entering Phuentsholing—your gateway to the Land of the Thunder Dragon.
- Upon arrival at your hotel in Phuentsholing If you’re up for a short walk we recommend visiting Zangtopelri Lhakhang, a serene temple located in the heart of town.
- In the evening, during dinner, we ’ll officially welcome you with a special celebratory cake and offer you a local Bhutanese wine to mark the beginning of this beautiful journey on a joyful note. After dinner, join the group for an entertaining karaoke session at Samsara Club (drinks at the club are not included).

Day 2
Phuentsholing to Thimphu

Punakha Day Trip

- Dochula Pass (3,988m): Begin with a scenic drive to the famous Dochula Pass, home to 108 chortens and panoramic Himalayan views. A perfect start to the day!
- Chimi Lhakhang – The Fertility Temple: Next, hike a short trail to this hilltop temple dedicated to Lama Drukpa Kuenley, the “Divine Madman.” Known for its unique spiritual significance.

- Adults (18+): Carry your original Voter ID (issued by a government office) or a valid Indian Passport with at least 6 months validity from your return date.
- Children (Under 18): Carry a Passport or Birth Certificate. Ensure that all details written in English (not in any regional language).

- Aadhaar Card is not accepted for travel—neither for adults nor children.
- E-Voter ID cards downloaded/printed versions are not valid for immigration. Only the original physical Voter ID received from the Election Commission is accepted.

- Airport Pickup: Scheduled at 02:00 pm at Bagdogra Airport IXB.
- Airport Drop: Scheduled at 01:00 pm. Kindly book your flight after 3:00 PM. If you have booked a late evening flight you have the option to wait at the airport.
Important Notice:
- If arriving and departing by train at New Jalpaiguri (NJP) Station, the vehicle will pick you up and drop you off at Tinbatti More, located 3.7 kms from NJP Station.
- Our team member will be at the airport to coordinate and arrange your pickup.
- Please note: If your pickup or drop falls outside our designated time and location, you can arrange a separate vehicle at your own expense.

1 We’re a couple — will we have to share a room?
No, couples will get a private double-sharing room. You won’t be sharing it with anyone else.
2 I’m traveling solo — how will accommodation work?
Solo travelers will be placed in a twin-sharing room with another same-gender traveler. A great way to make new friends!
3 What currency is used in Bhutan?
Bhutanese Ngultrum (BTN) is the official currency. Indian Rupees (INR) are also widely accepted — no exchange needed for Indian travelers.
4 Are ATMs and credit cards accepted?
ATMs are available in main towns, but carry cash for smaller places. Few hotels accept Visa cards — note a 5% transaction fee.
