Your Bhutan holiday begins the moment you arrive at Bagdogra Airport. From here, we’ll drive towards Jaigaon, the final Indian town before crossing into Bhutan.

After completing the immigration formalities at the Pedestrian Terminal, our team will assist you with a smooth entry into Phuentsholing, the gateway to the Kingdom of Bhutan.

After checking into your hotel and taking some time to relax, you may enjoy a leisurely walk to Zangtopelri Lhakhang, a peaceful temple located in the heart of the town, offering the perfect introduction to Bhutan’s calm atmosphere.

After check-out, your driver will escort you to Bagdogra Airport for your onward flight. Every adult traveler must carry either an original Government-issued Voter Identity Cardor a valid Indian Passport having a minimum validity of six months from the date of return.

Children (Below 18 Years)

Children should travel with either a valid Passport or a Birth Certificate. All information printed on the document must be in English and not in any regional language.

  • Aadhaar Card is not accepted as a valid travel document for entering Bhutan, irrespective of age.
  • Bhutan Immigration accepts only original Government-issued Voter ID Cards. Cards that are damaged, inactive, invalid, or whose details cannot be verified through the Election Commission database will not be considered valid.
  • Photocopies, scanned copies, laminated reproductions, or printed copies of documents are not accepted. Travelers must present the original Passport or Voter ID during immigration procedures.

Pickup & Drop Location: Bagdogra Airport – IXB

  • Distance: Bagdogra Airport to Phuentsholing is approximately 150.8 km and takes around 4 hours by road.
  • Airport Pickup : Group pickup is scheduled between 02:00 PM and 03:00 PM at Bagdogra Airport.
  • Airport Drop : Airport drop is scheduled around 04:00 PM. Kindly book your return flight after 6:00 PM onwards. Alternatively, you may stay near Bagdogra Airport at your own expense and take your flight the next day.

Important Notice

  • Train Travelers – NJP Station
  • For guests arriving or departing from New Jalpaiguri Railway Station, pickup and drop will be arranged from Tinbatti More, located approximately 3.7 km from NJP Station.
  • Our team member will assist with transfer coordination.
  • Any pickup or drop outside the scheduled time will require a separate vehicle at an additional cost.
